1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
Several years ago, my husband and I had been on a very lovely date night. We were dressed to the nines and upon finishing our dinner and closing our tab, we left the restaurant. Hand in hand, my husband exited through the door, and I, smack dab into the full glass wall beside the door. Needless to say, I was entirely mortified and left a full imprint of my forehead and cheek for all to see on the glass.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
1) Family…and 2) Romano cheese, but for real, it’s a fiasco if we run out. We are serious about our Italian food and we love hosting for family and friends!

3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I tend to be a quiet observer, and that’s sometimes mistaken for stoicism. I promise I’m full of emotions (ask my husband, ha). I do tend to reserve speaking quickly and passing judgment! I personally don’t find this negative but realize it’s not always recognized upfront.

4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
One of my favorite roles, when my sons were in elementary school, was being lead room mom to serve the teachers and coordinate other volunteers at the school. I loved being in this role, and while titles and organizations have changed, I’m still thrilled to serve in similar capacities with my boys as the years go by!

5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
This is a loaded question for me, because I’m not sure I can think of a singular crazy thing like sky diving, riding an elephant, bungee jump, etc. But I think I would say, in the most respectful way, not caring what others think.
